Enhancing Vendor Compliance in European (Higher) Education
In recent years, vendor compliance has become increasingly crucial for education in Europe. Legislation (GDPR), knowledge security, and strategic autonomy are prompting us to reassess our partnerships and serviceproviders. Currently SURF is doing these assessments on behalf of the Dutch Research and Education Sector. However our findings and results are also applicable to the rest of Europe/EU higher education sector.
To accelerate and improve our collective ability to evaluate major vendors' services we are open to collaborate with our peers in Europe. Do you recognize the importance of compliance assessments and/or are you working in the European public sector, NREN or an educational institution?
